Today is my sister, Stacy’s 30th birthday! So seeing as I have such a forum to make such an announcement, I will do so (this is fair warning to all of my other readers whose birthday’s I’m aware of, expect such a post in your honor as well).
Stacy, if and when you read this, I hope that you enjoy your birthday and make the most of your day. I know it can be tough to plan things with such a young daughter (she had her first baby in January), but I hope that you are able to find time to celebrate as you deserve to do so. Don’t think of 30 as a negative change – your 20’s were a learning phase. Now you are free to be yourself! And knowing you, you will be alive and healthy for many, many decades to come. So make the most of this and every day.
